Every year around Christmas our little cupid (12% ABV) comes jingling out of the fermenter and into a silver little can. This Christmas classic, a quadruppel, is abundantly filled with dried fruit flavor, warming alcohol, and a spiciness only a Belgian style can contribute.
It hibernates in barrels for an extended nap of about 9 months before it returns briefly to the home of it’s birth: the unitank fermenter where it gets charged up with an assortment of little co2 bubbles. Once it has said its goodbyes and had its fill of co2 it runs with incredible speed to the Hogna Brygg canning line where it fulfils its destiny of being availble for the Christmas season.
Serving recommendations: 4 – 12ºC.
