A beer which finds itself squarely in the local love triangle of ginger, spice and everything nice. Trøndelag is famous in Norway for a few ginger inspired beverages.
Here Kyoto takes inspiration from that aforementioned group with a recipe that calls for lots of fresh ginger and a little booster of chili to enhance the spicy effect. In this light ale the taster can expect to immediately recognize that the product is in fact a beer but will be able to immediately detect the presence of spicy ginger. This combination is a unique product that could be described as a beer first and a ginger beverage second but its a close distinction.
Serving recommendations: 2 – 8ºC.
Water, malted barley, wheat, ginger, hops, yeast and chili.
