What gives – stouts are supposed to be dark!?
Trickery, here we attempt to trick the unsuspecting taster into having the full dark beer experience with a light liquid, call it molecular beerstronomy if you will. To pull this off we add the roast flavors through roasted coffee beans and chocolate.
What results is a beer that if the taster closes their eyes they might be fooled into thinking they are drinking a full fledged stout with notes of coffee and chocolate.
Serving recommendations: 4 – 12ºC.
Water, barley malt, Norwegian oats, chocolate, roasted coffee beans, hops, and yeast.
