Misty Mountain Tops is a beer that defines the three words smooth, juicy and tropical in the Hogna Brygg internal lexicon. Here we have the highest quality hops Norwegian kroner can buy blended with malt from our favourite local maltster: Bonsak malt. We worked closely with Tyson (Also known as: Doctor Malt, Professor Malt) from Bonsak malt to unlock hidden and desirable flavors. Using a combination of specially designed Norwegian craft malts Hopshiner and Fruitopia we accentuate and highlight the tropical flavors. We carefully adjust our adjuncts like oats and lactose to maintain a creamy medium to full body with a sweetness that furthers to bring out the fresh tropical flavors of our juicy blend of dry hopped Humulus lupulus.
