DESCRIPTION

Stjerneskudd is our winter rye IPA featuring a hint of licorice. The combination of tropical hops, creamy oats, and licorice results in a well balanced beer with a unique licorice sweetness that comes toward the end of the tasting experience depending on serving temperature one can tweak just how much licorice flavor is present in the mid to end pallet. Warmer temperature favor a sweeter and more prominent licorice flavor while colder temperature favor a more tropical IPA experience. Wikipedia describes one of the properties of licorice root, glycyrrhizin, which is claimed to be up to 50 times sweeter than standard table sugar. So expect a bit of a sweet hit that compliments the tropical hop flavors.
