DESCRIPTION

Dark ale fills a stylistic gap between amber ale and porter. The beer itself is full bodied and semi sweet owing to extra dextrins from the hot mash and maltodextrin adjunct added to the boil. Flavors of caramel and chocolate compete with fresh toast and poppyseed muffins. This is all balanced with a Hogna Brygg hopping regime to produce a subtle bitterness and contribute some noble aromas.

The name refers to the first signs of twilight, a time for candles, fires and fellowship in the winter’s of Norway.
