X4 – Imperial Brown Ale – Aged in second fill whisky casks.
The latest iteration of the X series sees a spicy brown ale clocking in at 9% ABV head into barrels for aging. The bourbon characteristics of the casks give the beer another dimension.
X3 – Imperial Stout – Barrel Aged in Laphroaig casks.
The third iteration of the X series is a classic imperial stout with a special characteristic owing to the casks it matured in. Like the namesake whiskey this beer has a peaty kick and a whisky inspired smoothness.
Serving recommendations: 6 – 12ºC.
